. Arts Fringe – Manchester Pride

As Manchester Pride gathers pace towards the Big Weekend, this week has been full of fringe events. Today’s agenda for me started with the tour and talk “Through the Pages”, held in the beautiful John Ryland Library.

Next up was a real treat. A series of “Chamber Music” has been presented all week long in the Cosmo Rodewald Theatre. This is rehearsals in preparation for oboist and conductor Nicholas Daniel.

Then, after a few hours rest and refreshment, it was onto the evening’s entertainment… a film programme at The Greenroom, a theatre group presentation, all rounded off with a play by the infectiously enthusiastic cast of “Fanny the Nun”.
